Customer Challenge
A major QSR chain in business for nearly 55 years has been on the forefront of store-wide digitization to deliver faster, frictionless customer experiences both inside and outside its restaurants. The corporate office has established a 2024 mandate that requires all new stores breaking ground go digital throughout the property, including technology systems to support counter and drive-thru service. That’s a big task for a company that plans to open more than 300 new franchises over the next calendar year. The customer required a full-service partner that could accommodate conceptual designs, installation and third-party technology procurement on specific timelines across all new restaurants, and support “re-imaging” initiatives for thousands of existing franchise locations.
Scope of Work
Palmer Digital Group (PDG) has been supporting this customer’s digitization initiatives for more than five years. In addition to supplying and installing all indoor and outdoor digital menu boards. PDG works closely with the corporate office to strategize the proper configurations for each site. PDG’s flexible structural options across pedestal and canopy designs ensure that every store has the appropriate solution for their drive-thru lane configurations, while PDG’s close relationships with leading CMS and display vendors ensure that franchises can clearly visualize and dynamically update digital menu board content.
